End of Summer Blues

I can't believe August is almost over!! I don't know where the time has gone. I've been doing some serious home improvement projects, and getting ready for school to start, but still the summer has just flown by. In between I've manage to continue to increase my yarn stash (that gets addicting) and work on about 4 UFO's. Is it sign of a problem when you find you have knitting projects hidden around the house so whenever you have a break and where ever you happen to be sitting you can pick something up and sneak in a few rows? lol

New Additons to Yarn Stash

I'm so excited. MIL told me about some yarn at Yankee Dollar. I went to check it out and surprise. They had Lion Brand Fun Fur, Lion Brand Suede, lots of the Lion Brand's expensive ribbon yarns and some of the novelty yarns from Modea. All for $1 a skein!! They had a few colors of each to choose from as well. I got enough suede to make two sweaters, one in fuchsia and one in teal, and enough novelty yarn to do a scarf. All for next to nothing. I can't wait to finish some of the projects I'm currently working on so I can get started. I also picked up some yarn needles and a couple of stitch holders. Never expected such a find.
